Under the heading “Stronger Together”, both organizations opt for joint housing. The joint and renewed office functions and the 24-hour service of the fire department will be located at the location at Prins Bernhardplein 112 in Zaandam.

ZENBER Architects designs future-proof and contemporary housing for both organizations. It is a sustainable and circular design with space for your own identity. Many existing materials are harvested from the current building and are reflected in the new design.

“Stronger Together” GGD and Zaanstreek-Waterland Safety Region

The Zaanstreek-Waterland Safety Region is a partnership between municipalities, fire department, police and GHOR. They work 24/7 to ensure the safety of the residents of the Zaanstreek-Waterland. The safety region is moving into the building together with the GGD. The Zaanstreek-Waterland Community Health Service (GGD) works every day to ensure a healthy and safe environment for all residents in the region. Based on the idea of “positive health”, they are committed to taking a positive approach to health issues.
