Festive moment at Schiphol
Last week, together with stakeholders and advisors, we celebrated a special milestone: the successful redevelopment of Lounge 1 at Schiphol. During the meeting, project director Michiel van Goor thanked, Chief Infrastructure Officer Sybren Hahn and Chief Commercial Officer Arthur Reijnhart, all involved. ZENBER Architects was presented with a scale model of The Cloud as a symbolic gesture celebrating the joint design and construction process.
The design process for Lounge 1 started in 2018 with an ambitious vision: to create a renewed, future-proof environment where passengers feel welcome, comfortable and inspired. In total, it is more than 24,000 m2 redeveloped lounge and retail space, with new concepts that contribute to an optimal passenger experience.
