Publication on the sustainable transformation of Ministerial Government Office B73 in the NL25 yearbook. This book offers a broad overview of Dutch architecture in 2025, featuring 143 completed projects in one clearly structured annual review.
In collaboration with Studio PROTOTYPE, ZENBER Architecten transformed Government Office B73 in The Hague into a green, inspiring work environment for three ministries. This modern and sustainable government office is designed around meeting, consulting, and collaborating. The green design, featuring an orangery as its 'green lung', includes vertical gardens and plant walls that contribute to healthy air quality, a pleasant work environment, CO₂ reduction, and lower cooling loads. Additionally, the two brainstorm pods, constructed entirely from bio-based and renewable materials, serve as testing grounds for innovative and sustainable products and technologies.
