OPENING SCHIPHOL LOUNGE 1 WITH VIDEO PODCAST

Lounge 1 at Schiphol opened with a live video podcast. In a talk show, presenter Dirk Boelhouwer spoke to interior architect Eric Wezenberg, project director Michiel van Goor, Chief Commercial Officer Arthur Reijnhart and artist Maarten Baas. Using the impressive model, Eric explained the design for Lounge 1.

Lounge 1, a renewed and future-proof environment

ZENBER Architects started the design process for Lounge 1 in 2018 with an ambitious vision: to create a renewed, future-proof environment where passengers feel welcome, comfortable and inspired. In total, more than 24,000 m² of lounge and retail space has been redeveloped, with new concepts that contribute to an optimal passenger experience.
